Colour Photography Portraiture

This photograph was inspired by the colour photography works of names like Stephen Shore and William Eggleston. It was a combination their art and ability to capture something in an image and display it as soft, lifeless colour, and an interest in portraiture (Such as then environmental portraiture works of Arnold Newman) that drove me to combine the two elements and produce a still, cold and empty photograph of my friend above.
